Camp Terms and Conditions

1. Registration and Participation

By registering for camp, the parent or legal guardian confirms that the child is within the camp’s eligible age range and is able to participate in a group art and craft setting with reasonable independence.

Rabbit’s Foot Art & Craft reserves the right to determine whether a camp program is an appropriate fit for each child in order to help maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment for all campers.

2. Assumption of Risk and Release

I understand that participation in art, craft, and camp activities may involve certain risks, including but not limited to minor cuts, scrapes, allergic reactions, accidental contact with materials, and other injuries that may arise during normal participation.

By enrolling my child, I voluntarily assume the risks associated with participation in Rabbit’s Foot Art & Craft camp programs. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Rabbit’s Foot Art & Craft, its owners, employees, contractors, and volunteers from claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of my child’s participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

3. Medical Authorization and Emergency Care

In the event of an illness, accident, or emergency, I authorize Rabbit’s Foot Art & Craft staff to contact emergency services and to obtain medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached immediately.

I understand that every reasonable effort will be made to contact the parent or guardian and emergency contacts first. I accept responsibility for any medical or transportation expenses incurred on behalf of my child.

I confirm that all health, allergy, and emergency contact information provided during registration is accurate and complete.

4. Health, Allergies, and Special Considerations

Parents or guardians must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, behavioral concerns, developmental needs, or other important information before camp begins.

Rabbit’s Foot Art & Craft will make reasonable efforts to support campers’ needs when informed in advance. However, we may not be able to provide one-on-one care, medical services, or accommodations beyond what is reasonable for our camp setting and staffing.

If a child requires additional support to participate safely and successfully, we may ask the family to discuss readiness before camp starts or, if necessary, withdraw the child from the program.

5. Photo and Media Release

Rabbit’s Foot Art & Craft may photograph or record camp activities for use in promotional materials, including social media, website content, printed materials, and other marketing purposes.

By registering, you grant permission for your child’s image or artwork to be used unless you notify us in writing before the first day of camp that you wish to opt out.

6. Camper Conduct and Behavior Expectations

We work hard to create a kind, respectful, and creative environment. Campers are expected to:

• follow staff instructions

• participate safely

• treat other campers, staff, tools, and materials with respect

• remain with the group as directed

Rabbit’s Foot Art & Craft reserves the right to dismiss a camper whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, aggressive, or repeatedly interferes with the experience of others.

If a camper is dismissed for behavioral reasons, refunds, credits, or makeup days will not be provided.

7. Attendance, Absences, and Early Withdrawal

If your child will be absent, please notify us as soon as possible.

No refunds, credits, or makeup days will be provided for missed camp days due to illness, vacation, scheduling conflicts, or other personal reasons.

If you choose to withdraw your child before the end of the registered camp session, written notice is required. Any refund or credit will be governed by the cancellation policy below.

8. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Because camp staffing, materials, and planning are based on enrollment, the following policy applies:

• Cancellations made 10 or more days before the first day of camp are eligible for a refund, less a cancellation fee of 10% of the total registration amount.

• Cancellations made fewer than 10 days before the first day of camp are non-refundable.

• Once a camp session has started, no refunds or credits will be issued for cancellation, withdrawal, or missed days.

• Rescheduling to another camp session may be allowed if requested 10 or more days before the start date and if space is available.

• Rabbit’s Foot Art & Craft reserves the right to cancel a camp session due to low enrollment, staff illness, facility issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. In that case, families will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another available session.

 

9. Illness Policy

To protect all campers and staff, children should stay home if they are sick or showing signs of contagious illness.

A camper may not attend camp and may be sent home if they have any of the following:

• fever of 100.4°F or higher

• vomiting

• diarrhea

• severe cough

• difficulty breathing

• unexplained rash

• eye discharge or ear discharge

• symptoms of a contagious illness

• any condition that prevents them from participating safely in camp activities

If a child becomes ill during camp, a parent, guardian, or authorized emergency contact must arrange prompt pickup.

A child may return to camp when they have been fever-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medication, and when symptoms have clearly improved. Rabbit’s Foot Art & Craft may request a doctor’s note when appropriate.

No refunds, credits, or makeup days will be provided for illness-related absences.

 

10. Medication Policy

Rabbit’s Foot Art & Craft does not generally administer medication unless specifically agreed to in writing in advance.

If medication must be provided during camp:

• the parent or guardian must notify us before camp begins

• medication must be in its original container

• clear written instructions must be provided

• prescription medication must include the child’s name and dosage instructions

We reserve the right to decline to store or administer medication if proper documentation is not provided or if the request exceeds what staff can reasonably accommodate.

 

11. Food, Snacks, and Personal Belongings

Parents are responsible for providing any required snacks, lunch, and a labeled water bottle unless otherwise stated by the camp.

To help protect children with allergies, families may be asked to avoid sending foods containing peanuts or tree nuts. We will communicate any food restrictions before camp begins.

Please label all personal belongings. Rabbit’s Foot Art & Craft is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items brought to camp.

 

12. What to Bring

Campers should bring:

• a labeled water bottle

• a labeled backpack

• nut-aware snack, if needed

• lunch for full-day camps, if applicable

• any other items specifically listed in the camp information

Please do not send valuable items, toys from home, or electronics unless specifically requested.

 

13. Drop-Off and Sign-In

A parent or authorized adult must sign the camper in each day unless Rabbit’s Foot Art & Craft provides a different check-in procedure in writing.

Campers may only be dropped off during the designated camp arrival window. We ask families to arrive on time so the child can transition smoothly into the day’s activities.

 

14. Pick-Up and Authorized Release

For camper safety:

• children will only be released to a parent, legal guardian, or other adult authorized during registration or later authorized in writing

• photo identification may be required at pickup

• the authorized adult must sign the child out each day

Please notify us in advance if someone new will be picking up your child.

 

15. Late Pick-Up Policy

Children must be picked up promptly at the scheduled end time.

A late pickup fee of $10 for each 10-minute period may be charged beginning after the grace period, if any, communicated by camp staff.

If a parent or guardian has not arrived shortly after camp ends, Rabbit’s Foot Art & Craft will attempt to contact the parent/guardian first, then the listed emergency contacts.

Repeated late pickups may result in dismissal from camp without refund.

 

16. Damaged Property

Families may be held financially responsible for any intentional damage caused by a camper to studio property, equipment, furniture, or materials beyond normal wear and tear.

 

17. Policy Updates

Rabbit’s Foot Art & Craft reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any material changes will be communicated to registered families and will apply to future registrations or upcoming camp sessions as appropriate.

 

18. Acknowledgment

By completing registration, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to these Summer Camp Terms & Conditions for Rabbit’s Foot Art & Craft.
